Search your workspace
Gridflo has one search box for everything. Instead of searching tasks in one place and notes in another, universal search looks across your whole workspace at once — tasks, notes, people, calendar events, goals, and more.
Opening search
There are two ways to open search from anywhere in the app:
- Press ⌘K on Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows
- Click Search at the top of the sidebar
Searching
- Open search with ⌘K / Ctrl+K
- Start typing in the "Search your workspace..." box — results appear as you type
- Click a result to jump straight to that item
- Press ESC to close search without choosing anything
Tips
- Search matches more than exact words — it also understands what your items are about, so searching for a topic can surface related notes and tasks even when the wording differs
- Results link directly to the right place: a task opens in its project, a note opens in the editor, a person opens their profile
- On mobile-sized screens, search opens as a panel from the bottom of the screen
If you're looking for something Flo would know — like "what did I plan for this week?" — you can also just ask in Chat. Search is best for jumping to a specific item; Flo is best for questions that need an answer.
